Why is our silk soap so special?
Our soap is handstirred
in small batches.
We pour the soap mixture in wooden handmade molds. The soap is cut and allowed to cure for nearly a month.
Why use our handcrafted silk soap?
  • Far more moisturizing than commercial soaps.
  • Commercial soap companies extract the natural glycerin that is produced and sell it separately.
  • Glycerin is an extremely moisturizing byproduct of saponification (soap production).
  • This is the reason why commercial soap is so drying to the skin.
  • Our cold processed silk soap is handcrafted better than the old fashioned way (no tallow!).
  • Vegetable based soaps are environmentally friendly and gentle on your skin (the use of tallow may clog pores, not allowing your skin to breathe).
  • Our Silk Soap formula is perfect for cleansing your face and pampering your body! The silk is dissolved in the lye phase so you don't actually feel the fibers. What you do feel is the incredible silky lather. As the silk turns to amino acid, it creates a strong bond with the water. This results in a hydrating effect. Every bar is formulated with shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil and olive oil. Simply luxurious!
  • This formula was originally our baby soap formula. It was so luxurious we converted all the bars to it. We've had customers with eczema have great success with this soap. Some have even told us that they no longer need their steroid creams anymore.
  • Compare our formula to other handcrafted soap. The majority are formulated with coconut and palm oils. Some companies add a splash of a wonderful ingredient simply to put it on the label. Our first two ingredients are cocoa butter and olive oil.
